This Refund Policy applies to purchases of the DivorceQuik service from DivorceQuik, LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company ("DivorceQuik," "we," "us," or "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service.
Summary
Because the Service delivers digital documents prepared from your answers, our refund policy is tied to whether documents have been generated for you. In short:
- Full refund within 30 days of purchase if you have paid but have not yet clicked "Generate My Documents" — your case has not consumed the service.
- No refund after documents have been generated, because the work you paid for has been delivered. This is true even if you later decide not to file, your spouse changes their mind, or the court rejects a filing for reasons outside our control (for example, an error in the answers you supplied, missing notarization, payment-method issues at the Clerk's office, or local rules we could not anticipate).
- Discretionary refund in good-faith error cases (duplicate charges, technical failures that prevented you from receiving usable documents, and similar issues).
Refunds are not available because you decided you wanted an attorney instead, or because your circumstances have changed. The Service's value is the work performed in generating your packet, which we cannot un-perform.
How to request a refund
Email info@divorcequik.com from the address you used at checkout. Include your case access link or order/receipt number and a brief explanation. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without first attempting to resolve the matter directly may result in the loss of access to the Service.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under Nebraska consumer protection law.
